I'm not sure if anyone has asked this or if it has already been said before, but, how were the contestants chosen exactly? I know that players signed up through that link you provided, but beyond that, how were they chosen from those entries?

Just wondering. I thought some of the choices were interesting.

Also, I liked the videos. Hopefully as the tournament moves forward there are more action-packed videos.

Using default maps is quite stuffty honestly. Very unprofessional.

having a grapple rope in a match is unneeded, maybe if it was a floating platforms map, other than that it would just turn into a challenge of whoever can fly around the most and quickly attack the opponent.

Adding a grapple to the fight opens up for so much more possibilities. I hope you're not just relating grapple to grapple knifetdm, grapple is one heck of an item. Me and bt (Blocktim) were having a blast 1v1 on Barn's server, centering at the church, using grapple and rl or sniper rifle. It was so much about midair. Then.. using a grapple is like a completely new school. Just because you're good at shooting doesn't mean that you can handle a grapple.

Also, why the forget do I keep getting bashed because I used default weapons and default maps, THE FIRST ROUND ONLY.
Jesus, you guys need to be patient, in round 2 you will be able to choose your fight on whatever map with whatever weapon, with whoever you are fighting.
Stop complaining about every little detail and maybe just focus on the competitors? And winning maybe?
