the only part that is a coincidence is that there just happened to be a clan basically dedicated to furries
and people got confidence to be open about it I guess, because they were

To anyone who think my avatar is furry related, no it isn't. I cant stress enough that its sly cooper from cover art. Just because I like a game like this doesn't make me a furry. I keep getting messages every day from this and its getting really REALLY annoying.

to add on to what I said a few minutes ago,
I think it's ok for people to have avatars and such displaying these fandoms because that's what they support, and if you don't like that then just disable avatars or use that one greasemonkey script. I find people in animal suits humping strange too, but I don't get all personal about it because if thats what they wanna do, then I don't care about it (unless they're bragging/posing about it). If someone uses a pony/fandom picture as a reaction or general picture then it's okay unless they post them in every unrelated topic. But to prevent that I guess they should keep most of their fandom media in the desired topic so things don't get out of hand.

being an ass is never good. no matter who it is. I don't support furries who act like an ass towards someone who just says they don't like furries, but I don't support people who act like an ass towards furries just because they don't like it. you can express your dislike for something without being a douchebag
