Author Topic: So apparently, soda causes depression  (Read 2011 times)

I'm not sure where I read it, but up to 33% of people who drink up to 4 cans of soda a day develop depression. Fruit punch drinkers have a higher chance, with 38%.

WELL DOESN'T THAT EXPLAIN A LOT

Seriously, whenever I found myself in my room, I was always in a saddened mood, as if something was always dragging me down. I usually drank 4 cans of soda a day thinking I was just tired, trying to get caffeine into my system. But, no. I was actually screwing with my brain somehow. So, I am limiting what I drink from now on. Tis' a shame, I love Pepsi and Fanta :'(

mango soda doesn't even taste like mangoes..

i drink like ~6 cans of soda a day and it doesnt change my emotions at all.

im sure that depressed people just drink more soda.

these studies are handicapped lol

You guys who drink more than two a day are going to have kidney stones up the ass (and urethra)

Correlation does not imply cause

Most i drank in a day was 2 or 3 with a random mixture of Pepsi or Ginger Ale throughout the day

I also drink plenty of water

did you know that 99% of people who have gotten cancer have worn jeans?!?!?!

Anyone who's ever died has breathed air, coincidence? I think not...

yeah sure.

this is like saying eating comfort foods causes depression

100% of people who breathe will die

i chug an endless amount of dr pepper and rc every day and i'm doing great
“scientists” need to stop giving stupids kids more stuff to blame their problems on

Whether or not it's true doesn't really matter, if it's stopping people from drinking 4+ cans a day then good.
Why would you even drink that much?
