Author Topic: today is d-day  (Read 2455 times)

Today is an important time of rememberance. So many people died today, on both sides. This battle was a major turning point in the war, largely helping to thwart the axis plans of world domination. Instead of joking you should all think of the hell that every person that walked on that beach, jumped out of a plane, on the boats, etc went through to protect and preserve human liberties.

what do you mean by human liberties? if you mean industrial genocide, pretty sure nobody knew if that was true until germany surrendered.

What I really find fascinating about yesterday is how long all the pilots were flying. That was a long loving time to be in an airplane.

My dad was a Captain on an E-3 and they flew for 12+ hours at a time.

I had a dream that I was a national socialist in the death pits on Omaha beach on D-day. That was odd.

D-Day?

Now she wants the D.
