Furries want to forget animals and they want to dress like animals and forget other people dressed as animals.
If you aren't one of those people, don't call yourself a furry. Unless your weird obsession with anthro art is tied to a special interest for anthropomoprhized animals, then you actually are a furry.

besides little kids, I don't think many people even claim to not have a special interest for it
but having love in fursuits is pretty uncommon

If you're a brony or furry keep it to yourself. Don't make a thread about your weird love special interest and then get mad that people aren't tolerant to it. Society works because we don't go around grossing people out or stepping on their toes with disgusting stuff like this. If you want to forget animals, whatever, but don't tell me about it and then try to defend it like it's a legitimate lifestyle choice when you're criticized for it.

The ones that claim it's not a special interest, that they just have a boner for "anthro art," are the most annoying stuck-up-their-own-ass furries out there.

Even if you aren't trying to have fursuit love, there are other boards out there where you won't be criticized for wanting to Bugs Bunny's richard.

I'd say that anthro is more 1/3's animal. There are only a few animal aspects to them, albeit very prominent, but limited. Personality: human. Most of the body: human. Dominant asthetic: animal. Even some of the animal aspects are human-like. For example the legs are digitigrade, but they stand on two legs, not all fours.

Being a furry dosen't mean your attracted to anthro or fursuits or animals, infact, I personally hate fursuits and spit on people who like to have love with animals because its plain weird, anthro is a neutral for me because its like human's but also animal so its a 50/50 like and dislike

You are literally the worst and most aggravating segment of the furry 'fandom.' You have it in your head that you aren't like those other "weird" furries, and you convince yourself that you're the one who makes the stuff look good. You're in the same boat as the people you 'spit on,' and you're wearing the same label they are. If you don't want to have love with animals that barely resemble people then you aren't a furry, you're wearing the label willingly because you feel like you need to belong to some autism-fandom that produces disturbing research.

You think you're better than people who have love in fursuits, when you're exactly as low as they are. You both identify yourselves as furries, so what's the difference? You're choosing to wear a label that was given to animal forgeters and you're trying to act like the animal forgeters are the reason people don't like your fandom. They have humanoid bodies that only vaguely resemble human beings. Digitigrade legs, paws, and 100% animal heads is only a fraction of what makes them animals, and not humans. Wanting to have love with animals is the definition of bestiality.
