well to be fair, size doesn't always correlate with cost. I mean, the realistic heads/masks are smaller but they have a lot more detail put in to them than most of the bigger heads.

A bigger head would require more material is what I'm saying.

there'd be more different parts that would have to be made but less overall material used
though most fabrics and other materials of that kind would probably be sold in bulk, or at the very least in packages of far more than one would need for, say, a curved snout shape
