which happen to be big
but think about mice, they're not called mice because they're small, and being called mice isn't what makes them small

But leviathans are dragons but not all dragons are leviathans. You're comparing apples and oranges by using a comparison of a species rather than types of species. There can be dwarf mice, much larger types of mice, etc. It's the same way with dragons in this case. Leviathans are just gigantic dragons.
