if I notice something I point it out, I'm not going to stop, that's just how my mind works

I can't fix the drawing myself because it's not mine, so I just make a list of the things that I would change instead

it's not complaining and it's not bashing, it's critiquing

and I'll post some of my art once I have something I'm comfortable enough with; I will definitely admit that my own skill does not quite match the level at which I critique yet, in fact I'm just now starting serious work on anatomy, but I've been taught a lot over the years by a close friend who is marvelously skilled at drawing (which is why I critique on such a high level) and I'm constantly trying to improve

all the pieces are there, I just need to keep practicing to put them together, and until I get something I deem acceptable I'm not going to share it

not to mention that a considerable portion of my art is super special interesty and/or research so there aren't exactly a lot of drawings I can post on a children's video game forum in the first place, especially when considering the amount of polarizing opinions about these things; hell I couldn't even post my avatar in the drawings megathread without getting a clusterforget of people saying "ew anthros"

like 95% of what he draws is cub research. and there is ALWAYS that little video camera outline thing, you know what I mean? and it's not even the kinda cub research where the kids are like "heck yeah im totally into this" they act like they don't want it or don't understand it or something

What I want you to do tak, if you ever crit me, is to give me 1 or 2 things at a time so I don't see so many things wrong at once and try to fix all of them at the same time. Ya see, trying to fix many flaws in one go is difficult for me, and also frustrating due to my perfectionist attitude
(by perfectionist I mean everything in a art of mine has to look exactly how I want it or I'll be unhappy with it)


What I have also noticed is a lot of the crits I've seen from you are almost completely negative
A good critique usually includes positive stuff to balance out the negative and to let the artist know they're doing something right, rather than point out nothing but flaws and possibly offend the artist
