Out of curiosity, has anyone here ever been petted? I saw something about this in another topic and I was just curious if anyone here has had that experience, or at least seen it.

The first time for me was when I was at a Johnny Rockets near FurCon. I have a fluffy dragon tail I wear around, and in this case it was sticking out the side of my seat as not to squash it. A toddler then came up and started petting it. The mother looked concerned, either that her son was going to mess up my tail or that he was near one of those weirdos who like mascots. But it was still an interesting experience.

Here's a picture of my fluffy tail from my first FurCon a few years ago, and the photo that shows it best. I didn't take very many pictures of myself since there were so many dragons to gander at, but one of my friends took a picture of me partaking in a treat fishing game. The guy holding the line walked down the line against the wall dangling a Kit-Kat, and got people to chase after it for a while. I gave in, because, you know, Kit-Kats.



My persona has red scales, but being partially Asian he has a white mane down his spine. This was irresistible, despite slight inaccuracy. Also, note the end of it is tilted sideways so its hard to see the tuft.
