I've had a calm, yet testing day.
Woke up towards 11am.
I washed my face, went downstairs, had some breakfast (peanut butter on crumpets), had a chat with my parents who were out in the garden in the sun.
Then I spent about an hour reading Plot Summaries for the Aeneid, because I had an examination on it today, and I have had about 9 months to read the entire poem, and have only actually read half of it.
So, I'm fretting a little bit about how the exam will go, as it's the last Classical Civilisations exam I have.
I had my Augustan Rome exam on Wednesday, and I thought that went really really well.
So, after quickly brushing my teeth, my parents drove me to College, where I met up with some friends from my class and listened to how badly they have prepared. Which put me in a better mood.
Discussed some of the plot-points we need to know about, and that was it.
Got into the exam hall to find very few people having exams that day. Only our 1 class of 20 people does Classics.
Found my seat easily, and filled in the front of my paper.
Got told we could go, and sunk my teeth into it.
It wasn't the most fabulous paper in the world, but my little bit of last-minute revision paid off, and I got options available to choose aspects I had really read and studied.
Then came a massive 40 marker question, and I tried pretty hard at it.
Was definitely very difficult and had me stumped a few times, but talking to people afterwards, I did pretty well it seems.
Following that I went to Subway with a friend from my class, and we discussed the paper and whatnot.
Made me more confident with what I had done.
And I was invited to go to the National History Museum with him and some friends later in the summer, so that really made my day.
And since then, I've been relaxing and playing games.
Had a lovely Fish and Chips dinner (I'm a living British stereotype), played some Minecraft with some good friends, and am soon to go watch some Soap Operas.
It's been a pretty good day overall. Thanks for asking, forums.
