Are there any better rules to fishing beyond reeling in when the bait is pulled in?

Because sometimes I do that and the fish runs away.
And that's whether I press the button immediately or a little bit afterwards.

It's especially common with the really big shark-like sillhouettes, but I'm not sure if that's just because they're supposed to be harder to catch.
I got my expansion put through today, so it'll be done tomorrow.
And the debt for that is 98k, but I've already gotten about 60k from selling bugs, fish and stones today.

You have to learn to listen to the sound because the sound happens a split second before the visuals.

This basically. I try not to look at the screen and just put my ear to the speaker. The visuals kinda throw off your timing.

That's like one of the first things that comes up with the introductory message for nets.

You need to crouch in order to sneak up on the bugs that are on trees. :P

Whats weird is that the sneaking thing doesn't work in multiplayer. What i mean is that the animation won't show to anyone except you.
