Because the game's beauty shows better on the Wii U, the quality looks much more yucky on the 3DS, Animal Crossing: New Leaf looks very pretty for a 3DS game, i don't mind the outlines, but the character textures in general look very flat and dull, they just don't pop out as much as they do on the Wii U

Yeah I guess that's true. They could have made it look better by not giving it outlines, as stated in the post above.
