my rat was just put down

yesterday at 1:10 pm i handed my rat (Shirley) over to the vet so they could put her down.
she had several tumors and was very old.
i am not looking for sympathy i just needed to tell someone about this to help me feel better.

   when i was 7, me and my brother had pet gerbils. a week later, they broke out of the cage and my cats got them.   we both really liked final fantasy, and mine was named Tidus, my brother's was named Cloud. and he was white. mine has a brown/white coats.

But it's okay, I know how you feel.
I used to have a few rats.
One had a tooth that literally grew though the roof of it's mouth and almost into its brain.
Another god a tumor almost as big as itself.
And a third scratched its own eye out.
(they were albino rats, white fur and red eyes)
