Author Topic: Women to fight in America's elite military units  (Read 13319 times)

you can't bend human biology. you can't bend the mood swings that come with a period out of a woman. you can't bend the hormones out of people. the simple fact is that on average, a woman is weaker than a man physically. nothing, not even army conditioning, can change that.
have you not read the last 10 pages? nobody is arguing that any woman should be able to join. however, if a woman is physically and mentally capable of being on an elite unit, they should be allowed the option.

all i see is repetition and re-arguing facts when several good statements were pretty much able to conclude the thread.

guys it's 11 pages of the same stuff being repeated over and over again

essentially those who are eligible should be able to allowed to whatever they damn please

I'm not talking about the police force, I'm talking about military level work. Women can enlist into pretty much every military organization at will. I could enlist if I wanted to (although I am not physically or mentally prepared for the work and probably never will be, and I also have zero interest in it.)
Really? I always thought they weren't aloud to, humph, sorry. Question, did this happen recently?

obviously there will be rare exceptions, but i'm talking about the average woman.

That's the mistake, these won't be average women, these will be:

^pretty much the situation in a nutshell

Anyways, I'm pretty sure if they can pass their intense training programs they can be trusted to carry 350 pounds for a mile if they need to.

(also a solution for the op's hypothetical predicament: don't get shot bro!!)

women also serve a major role in the airforce.

WHY
We'll lose!
Women don't know how to fight.

ITT: teenaged boys talk about how superior men are to women in every aspect

i don't know, man
they might be able to nag the enemy to death

Men have hormones too. Testosterone is a hell of a hormone at times, especially when away from mates. The military teaches discipline for all of its recruits, I'm pretty sure able women can handle their emotions during that time of the month. Elites have to have extreme discipline to join. Women are able to do this, you're just pulling straws for arguments.
