gun pussies. if you're not hunting for food, you damn well better realize you're a gigantic pusillanimous individual for not using a bow and/or traps. food hunting is a different story, but 90% of hunting is not for food. longbow hunting for life.

Let's clear up a little misconceptions about the lovely 22 caliber "Light Rifle" round. Before falling out of popularity for larger rounds with more supposed stopping power, the 22lr was considered one of the most dangerous rounds in existence. It was dubbed the "Assassin's Bullet" as it's light weight and small size allowed it to easily enter a body, bounce off hard surfaces(bone, teeth, joints etc.), and then break itself into small indistinguishable pieces of metal. It has enough power to enter a skull, turn the brain into a delicious red slushy whilst bouncing around, probably exiting through the neck or eye in a fantastically small stream of blood and grey matter. The round has the perfect range of power to penetrate deep into the body and not exit before bouncing.

Modern day 22lr rounds hit with an almost shotgun like effect. Upon hitting something like a person or a deer, the round will shatter into small chunks of burning hot death and rend you from the inside out. A single shot is capable of pulping major organs and turning intestines into small strands of smelly worm paste. Last I heard, the 22lr still has more deaths and kills attributed to it than any other caliber, ball, projectile to have existed.
This. Even more deadly to organic things if hollow point. You can pretty much kill anything with just about anything, provided it can be brought up to a high enough velocity (which is no problem for a .22).

Now, I dunno about you guys, but I think hunting should be done with dual AA-12's and explosive shells.

That was a joke, btw.

I have guns and bows and from my experience guns are more fun than bows-- it's a matter of preference rather than if you're a 'pusillanimous individual' or not. It could go both ways too, I could call you a pusillanimous individual for not using a gun because you couldn't handle the recoil or noise

Holy Crap guys.
I didnt know this Theard is about 6 pages
