hey it goes both ways, brother. remember all the conservatives that wanted to boycott oreo?

Really sheds some light on the positive direction we're moving toward. Cookies truly are better than chicken.

And I'm glad you are not part of the government at all because you are clearly misinterpreting my point.

I said the 1st amendment protects minority rights, since it lets people practice what ever religion they please.

protecting freedom of religion hardly protects minority rights because it's not specifically intended to protect the (religious rights of) minorities but rather be all-encompassing

I never said anything about marriage or abortion? What are you even talking about?

Where did I ever say anything about marriage or abortion? Where? Nowhere! Again, Kearn please learn to read.

im sorry youre repeatedly being vague and using tunnel vision

Yeah I'm glad he's not old enough to vote.

will be next election, rand paul 2016

Don't worry Kearn, I had bigoted opinions at your age too. I grew out of them when I grew older, though.

you need to listen to yourself and quit being a condescending idiot before it catches up to you

but of course, nuts like you always call a witchhunt and demonize your opponents and their positions every time they disagree with what is clearly the true way the world works

Ahaha, nope. The first amendment does protect minority rights, are you blind? And no, I'm not bring vague. No one ever mentioned abortion in this thread.

And you really are a hypocrite, since you are the one being the condescending idiot right now. God, you're so delusional.

I think it shows how the liberals are hypocrites. "It's okay if we do it, but if they do it. IT IS A loving CRIME!"

Also I'm a moderate independent. Liberals see themselves as crusaders of equality and science, and overall progress. Conservatives see themselves as Defenders of morals and religion. Not a good mix since it is impossible for them to co-exsist.

When the US people are living in ruins and blaming each other and moderates don't exsist anymore, Kearn and Acerblock can tell their grandkids "I helped make the world it is today."

Good point.
Unfortunately progress is inevitable.

Is progress a bad thing?

but its exactly how they both worked out

protecting freedom of religion hardly protects minority rights
The first amendment provides (among other things) protection from establishment of religion. If any religion were to be established, it would no doubt be the majority religion. Preventing the majority religion from being established absolutely does protect the minority religions.

it's not specifically intended to protect the (religious rights of) minorities but rather be all-encompassing
I can't think of anything else that part of the amendment would be intended to do.

im sorry youre repeatedly being vague and using tunnel vision
You brought up entirely irrelevant things, and he's 'being vague and using tunnel vision'?
What?

To be honest that part of my post was mostly intended as a joke.
Joke aside though, what is this "true way the world works" that you speak of?
I also like how that's the only part of all of my several previous posts that you even attempted to refute.

he rite u no
Most of the raging I saw about the Chic-Fil-A thing was Christians raging at boycotters.

but its exactly how they both worked out
You seem to be forgetting (or intentionally leaving out) how the other side reacted.

Good point.
Unfortunately progress is inevitable.
Story time. Once Upon a time there was a land called Babylon where three major religions were started. The jews were the first, but they were kicked out of their homeland and hunted by the other two religions. The Muslims decided the land was theirs because they thought allah was great. This made the catholics/christians mad, so they decided that god was great and to spread their religion. This created a war that take place in the middle east and in europe. The muslims were kicked out of europe and the christians remained supreme in europe. They decided that their religion was the best and that they had to convert everyone in the world to it. Unfortunatly for them some people stuck to their old ways and they were killed. However some people wanted to find out more about their exsistance and turned to science. There is now a belief called atheism where deities are myth and science will provide all the answers and make us better. The Atheists love progress, so they want everyone to believe them to make progress happen. The pattern continued.

You seem to be forgetting (or intentionally leaving out) how the other side reacted.
i never heard any of it due to all of the major internet outlets being liberal
