I actually kind of like it that way. Now when someone uses #hashtags on facebook I don't have to call them an idiot.

I personally think another tagging method, for example something like what tumblr and YouTube use, would be better, but whatever

people have been using them because of the tumblr app on facebook. where they do work for.
