Its like love to my eyes. This would have been perfect to have a 4th of july party on, but I guess we missed it. Another time perhaps?

Really nice outside.
But the rooms seem really cramped..
It looks cramped because the ship was built for this thing:

And we're trying to cram this monstrosity in the same space:

Chubby little blockhead needs to go on a diet.

Titanic was the grandest thing to be on, far grander than any ship we have today. That might be saying a lot, but she was the most beautiful vessel man had created, all hand made, hand crafted masterpiece. I would give anything to be on the Titanic, if her fate wasn't so ill.
The Titanic is infact being rebuilt as the Titanic II.
If all goes well in it's construction, which includes it obviously going through all the more rigorous tests and safety evaluations that are required of cruise ships today, then it should hopefully be sailing in 2016.

This is looking really really good so far. It's good to see you back to building it again!
I wish you the best of luck with it. It's always been quite an inspiration for most builders on Blockland.

Hah, that's great.
Good to see the build ins't abandoned! It's been pretty much the icon for large scale building ever since I joined 4 years ago.
I mean, it was a default screenshot in 2009.

It can be finished one day!
I believe in it!

What's the brickcount? 1000000?

Interiors are barely even started. To say we have 80% to go would be a generous estimate! So far, the only room that it would be safe to call "complete" would be the starboard side private promenade; the swimming pool and third class general room will need to get a major overhaul for accuracy and brick efficiency.

So as for how much we need to do, chalk up "99% of the interior"

I feel like it can be safely said that the exterior is almost done, though: we just need to install the two leadsman's platforms, finish the inside of the fourth funnel, add in some new windows that were modeled by Demian (the same user who gave us those custom wheels and telegraphs in the bridge -- his work is excellent AND fast!), install two more navigation lights and finish one, fill in some gaps in the after side of the aft well deck, install quite a few light fixtures, and finish the hull (somehow).
Hi RMS

oh my dear lord

i.. i don't even know how to rate this..

my breath is taken away from this beauty

Blockland doesn't support 1,000,000 bricks. It's a bit over 70,000. I'm pretty sure they are going to hit the brick limit with the interiors and are going to have to cut off some rooms.

Yeah, I read about it a while back. It'll be real interesting! Since I can't afford to fly over to Southampton and take the ship on it's maiden voyage, which, I would love to do, I think Some family and friends of ours are gonna head to New York and watch it come into harbor, that should be fun, lol. It's the whole thing about SEEING it come to New York like her predecessor didn't accomplish.

lol, any boat will crash and sink if you poke a hole in it.

If/when the need arises, we can petition badspot for a higher brick limit. He's said before that he's open to the idea, all we need to provide are compelling examples, of which there are plenty
