Is Infestation not any good?

I don't know much about it, but I was quite interested and it looks fun.
If it went through on the Community vote I was going to see about myself and 2 friends buying it.
We quite like to casually play MMOs together.

Would you not recommend it?


I am basically after a survival-based zombie game with multiplayer.
Something that makes you feel like you're actually working to survive. Not just run through and shoot everything.
State of Decay on Xbox Live Arcade seemed really good, minus some bugs from it's launch.
But I don't think it's getting to the PC any time soon, so I'm after some alternatives.

They might have developed it more, but this wasn't too long ago. Also the fact they had to change the name to remove the negative stigma from the game is hilarious.

I don't know why there are no zombie-survival multiplayer games out there that are actually good.

Left4Dead doesn't fit the genre, since it's a run-and-gun.
Dead Island is also a run-and-gun, with it's own bugs and such.
State of Decay is incredibly buggy and doesn't have multiplayer nor is it on the PC, but it gets the survival aspect perfectly.
DayZ and WarZ (which I now know is Infestation) seem absolutely dire.
The Walking Dead (TellTale) is just a story, although a good one, and doesn't fit the genre.
