I dig in my pockets and pull out a cigarette and a lighter. Putting it in my mouth, I attempt to light it.

People are stuck in the sectors like Sector 6.  There is no one outside of the sectors.

Cherenkov slowly began to ease up on Nappy, shifting some of his weight to the side and removing the hand from his mouth.  "We are only here to help, I swear on my own life."  Cherenkov said, standing up.  The patrol had long since passed.

really? even though there was once a large gaping hole in an alleyway right near a large slum housing block right by it in an alleyway where it is largely noticeably by anyone trying to look for a place to hide from people? or people who live in the slum housing for a reason and that escape is right beside it and the fireflies use it everytime to get in?

I would imagine the hole would be covered by something.

"I hope you don't expect me to join the Fireflies after this."

anyways, after some more distance, the area became completely abandoned. All there was was chipping away buildings and broken windows as well as barrels on the sidewalks which were once what i'm guessing were canfires. I sped up a bit more and turned, then turned again and sped up, the engine becoming louder. I could see the trees in the distance getting closer and closer. The road started to become more bumpy so I slowed down. I turned up the radio a little bit but not too loud over the ham radio.

p.s. since the area is practically abandoned now the engine would echo in the air a little bit

"..."
I paused to think about the offer.
"Are there any women?"

"Plenty to press your luck with.  But the majority of them are soldier girls, and I wish you luck with them." the commander cracked a smile.

"High security? Lots of stuff locked up?"

"The place is secure, yes, and the firearms can only be accessed by Fireflies... why?"

"How about everything else that ISN'T firearms? Like the food?"

"High security? Lots of stuff locked up?"
"If you got valuables, you keep them close. If the fireflies as a group got valuables well, you better not loving touch it. Beer is in the bar, you can get that it isn't locked up."

"The food is locked up, but you can buy it if you have the money, like an honest man."

"So, we gonna sit in this hole all day or are we gonna move chief?"
