I'm not sure.
Shouldn't be too much.

Is it fast or reliable in the slightest?

if alyx's family could of afforded it then it must be fairly cheap

Is it fast or reliable in the slightest?
Eh, I'm not sure because places vary.
Where I am now it worked fine but a little sluggish because this place is mostly one big deadzone.
Where you are it should work with decency. Might not be able to game much though.

your lucky you get any internet at all. the only time i can use the internet at home is when my mom turns her modem on, then i can secretly use the internet on my psp

Are you not allowed to use internet or something? lol

no, i dont know why they wont let me. they might be afraid i would look at research or something, i stoped looking at research before she even got the modem. they keep saying they dont want me to use all the data, we have unlimited.

How do you play Blockland? Or do you at all?

How old are you? When you're older, there should be less problems once you become more independent.

i play blockland at a library, and offline at home (home pc with no internet)
15, what job do you have

tbh you sound like an ungrateful stuff.

You realize your parents pay the internet fee, they can do whatever they loving please with their internet.  Until you live on your own your parents control what goes on in your life, that's how it is.  Sure you can disagree with what they believe but they simply have the right to do what they do.

Saying you want to move out is horse stuff, I lived with two roommates for about 4 1/2 months during the school year and I can tell you, it sucked.  It was school in the morning, work right after until about 11pm, then sleeping for the next day.  I worked Saturdays as well so my only free day was Sunday, and it usually consisted of sleeping all day.

Even working 40+ hours a week I barely ever had money to spend that wasn't going to my part of the rent, bills, or things I couldn't live without.

Appreciate the fact your parents still hold you as their financial burden and accept that they can do what they want with their internet, just enjoy it bro.

Sorry that I don't share the same mindset of most of you

I work at McDonald's. Been trying to move on to Cracker Barrel but haven't been successful so far. I suggest you get a job as well. If your town's economy is decent, you could probably find work at your age. I started searching when I was fifteen but wasn't very successful. When you're sixteen, you'll have a much better chance. I'm going on seventeen and got my job only a few months after my birthday.

tbh you sound like an ungrateful stuff.

What am I supposed to enjoy, exactly? Ungrateful? I got my ass up and got a job to make a difference. Being ungrateful is sitting and complaining while doing nothing about it. No, wanting to move out is not horse stuff. Did you even read the entire OP? If I had parents with reasonable ideals, I wouldn't give a stuff. Also, nobody said I wasn't grateful for what I have. I'm ranting about their compulsive needs to turn off my internet connection with an illogical reasoning behind it.

Your point is basically: "They own it so they can do whatever the forget they want!"

Does the same rule apply to government? They think they own us so they can do whatever the forget they want? Just because you have rights to something doesn't make your actions right or wrong.

Lol, you're really going to try to defend this?

No your government brown townogy makes no sense, the government is created by the people for the people, you were created by your parents and are therefore owned by those same parents.

You're throwing a tantrum over your parents loving turning off internet past a reasonable time.  If you work a job there's no reason for you to be getting <8 hours of sleep a night so you can play games.

"What am I supposed to enjoy"
You literally have to be kidding, the lists are loving endless, your life, your food, your house, your basically everything?  None of that is enjoyable?  Okay.

Saying you want to move out due to them shutting off your internet is so ironic because if you lived on your own I highly doubt you'd even be able to afford high speed internet

ninja;  I guess what I'm saying is, your priorities are ass backwards

Yola, he's not ungrateful, he's frustrated that his parents are babying him as a near adult. Did you even read?
