Gather around, for it is GTA Online story time.
I was all the way in the northern part of the map. I found a nice car, so I wanted to sell it.
The nearest mod shop didn't need it. Neither did the one about 3 miles south. I drove all the way down to a mod shop in Los Santos, and they didn't want it. Finally, I said forget it, destroyed the car's tires, and went to do something else.
My car had recently been taken by the police, so I wanted to go get it. I selected it on the map, and it set a marker on a player heading north. Confused, I tried it again, and got the same result. This guy had stolen my loving sports car. Pissed, I jumped into the nearest car and starting racing for the highway he was on. After driving down the highway for a few minutes, a loving fighter jet came out of nowhere and started bombing the highway. I had driven halfway already, so I wasn't ready to die now. Luckily, he was too dumb to use the cannons, and instead fired missiles everywhere, missing every time.
The map showed that he was in a mod shop, which let me catch up quicker. After 30 minutes he was finally within reach, and I rammed him and started shooting. He killed me instantly. I respawned, got in a car, chased him, and he killed me again. It was the third life that I got the jump on him and got my car back. It was a complete mess. He had turned my sports car into a trapezoid-shaped compact car. It was horrifying to look at.
Afterwards, I chased him down and spun him out to gloat about getting my car back. He killed me again. He tried hiding somewhere to ambush me when I tried getting my car back, but I managed to get away.
tl;dr my car gets stolen and a fighter jet attacks me while i try to get it back
also im in a 3 person crew and we're pretty much powerful enough to like conquer entire public servers (technically 4 but the last person ended up buying a kindle fire instead of GTA V which i will never understand)
