Sounds fun but I hate to break it to you it probably wasn't a girl.

I love the game so far, I just wish gta: online didn't run like stuff

Of course it wasn't, I was just going by their ig gender.

i keep dropping from gta online lobbies as well, until i start doing private sessions with my friends. then it's all smooth sailing

at least the jobs and stuff work with other people :cookieMonster: guess i just need to get a better internet connection or something

Why are people saying you need a 4000$ gaming pc to run gta? My potato can run high at 30 FPS. Also gotta love that VRam meter at the top to see if it can run it. I crossed it a bit and still runs smooth. Sucks textures take allot of Vram because they look stuff on medium.

gee maybe they're talking max settings
I have a $1500 computer and run it at high above 60

Can we loving shut up about if you can run it or not, if you can't well I'm sorry but you're playing a next gen game on old hardware

Oh god I can't run loving watch dogs on my celeron what do I do guys??

the game is only letting me use up to 1024 MB but it says here i have aprox 2800 MB

nvm it is 1024, jesus christ

it's funny because i could run watchdogs at 100fps on just-short-of-high and this still barely runs well at minimum (rather than "low" because there's no way to put graphics options to "low" for some dumbass reason)

Yeah the game is horribly optimized (at least that seems to be the case on my end). I dont why the game runs horribly when i my specs are above the recommended specs.
Im done trying to get the game to work, i'll just wait until rockstar puts out a patch to fix it.

Watch Dogs and GTA V are made off of two separate engines, Both engines have unique properties and different optimizations. Grand Theft Auto V's engine is a heavily modified engine with more optimizations and further next gen technology, while Watch Dogs was built on a entirely different engine that runs differently then GTA V's.
Therefore, technically, you can not compare these two games' optimizations and graphical engines and expect them to run the exact same.

I am currently running the exact recommended specifications except I use a i5 3570k running at 3.4ghz, I can run and get an average of 60fps at the "Normal" settings, the game seems to be optimized perfectly fine according to users at the subreddit, and the users here.

Yeah I mean it runs smooth but the stuttering is so bad it makes the game unplayable.
Im also pretty sure theres a memory leak since it eats up more over time

they are games on my computer, made by triple-a companies, and logically one of these engines is better optimised for a PC than the other
why the hell wouldn't i compare them

You can't really expect them to run the exact same, as you said, Watch Dogs runs better for you than GTA V does, but you seem to be expecting them to run the same or am I mistaken?

Did a check with a Python script and found 220MB corrupted files. Neato. This might fix my bugs.

....no, really, why shouldn't i expect them to run well
there is no reason not to; if anything GTAV should run way better
