if someone admits to hacking, maxx can easily screencap it, link their profile, and send it to the rockstar banhammer

If you hack on public lobbies you better end your life now and save everyone the trouble

anyone who hacks in online should pretty much be removed from the game permanently :O
one word bucko: nah

seriously it's not as fun to drive around when some bitch ass brother puts a mannequin on u and puts a clone on u so u cant drive
u cant have fun driving
if u cant drive

why are so many people being negative towards someone who said that hackers should be permabanned?

i feel like it's a defense mechanism developed to deal with playing a broken anti-cheatless game

rule of thumb: if somebody gets defensive because a guy said hacking should be banned, that somebody probably hacks the game

yeah no

Here's a good concept for your small brain: if you don't cheat, you don't get banned.

never hacked in my life

it's ok to think that not everybody that hacks should be permanently removed from the game. most of the people that hack you will never know about or notice because they do it in private or with their friends.

on the other hand i do think the jerks who spawn asteroids on people and take away their guns or whatever should be banned, nobody likes them.

but comments like these:

aren't really necessary

When it comes to modifying a game to cheat and an online mode that's susceptible to said mods, there's no "ok". There's either the cheating problem or there's rockstar cracking down on hacking. Anyone that uses hacks or mods in online should be permanently banned regardless of how anyone feels.

Still doesn't make it okay. I recall hearing about somebody on the forums getting banned from GTA V after streaming themselves playing in a private lobby using hacks, and I'm all for their ban. Letting people get away with hacking even in private lobbies will always lead to people hacking in public lobbies. There's currently no way to prevent it rather than just ban the perpetrator.

Anyone with the means to hack in a private lobby will hack in a public lobby if they feel like there's no consequence. This is just a fact people have to accept when dealing with public lobbies.

I stand by those comments entirely. People who hack in multiplayer are pathetic and annoying. Nothing you said changed my views.

Why don't they take all the hackers, and only let them play in lobbies full of hackers
Thats genius.

I've might've already said this, but I can't find said post; I've only played GTA Online once.  I wasn't exactly fond of it, and considering I have mods installed, I'd rather not play online because...I am being a paranoid forget.

Plus, GTA 5 runs weirdly on my system.  I usually start out going smooth with a perfect frame rate, and then it starts stuttering...and then eventually it'll become horrible and broken and can't load parts of the map, leaving massive voids here and there.

Or they can get banned for not following Rockstar's EULA.
but who cares about reading rules!

but who cares about reading rules!
you say that, but that's probably how the hackers in question think

I'm just saying Rockstar could put their resources to better use than trying to ban all the hackers, cause its kind of like a game of whack a mole.  They could spend their time fixing the hacks and fixing the game.
