Meanwhile, on the other coast..
This is Trooper II Jeff Hanes of the Alderney State Police. Not many outside of Alderney has heard of him, but he's alright with that. He's always wanted to be like Sgt. Cross.

Trooper Hanes starts off his day with a patriotic breakfast before being sent out on foot patrol. You know, to do your usual policing, and to interact with the community. This goes well a lot of times. The ASP was also too poor to afford tasers for a few of their precincts.

Through all the budget cuts and underequipping, though, Trooper Hanes has always tried to be like his idol, Sgt. Cross. Hanes tried getting into SWAT two times, but was denied for failing his final training sessions. He keeps trying, though.

Trooper Hanes always makes sure the streets are clean of methhead bikers.

After all these months of his valiant & patriotic work for the state of
New Jersey Alderney, the State Police saw fit to issue him a standard police cruiser! Just look at how excited he is!

He gets right to busting drunk drivers- no breath tests needed, he knows a drunk when he sees it! (that's what pays off about living in alderney!)

His brothers & sisters in blue sure do know how to do a good block, the rare times they are around..

..even if it means a couple hundred people may not make it to work today, but it's a job well done!
He also loves to do photo shoots with his cruisers just as much as his idol, Sgt. Cross does, and would like some kicking-up-sand-at-sunset action, but sadly there's no grass, dirt, sand, or nice cars in
New Jersey Alderney. Just pavement. So, he does a drift that might have gone well with some eurobeat, then stops in fear he may get fired.

At the end of his shift, though, Trooper Hanes likes to calm himself as he sits by the side of the highway in the sunset, because nothing interesting happens at all in Alderney. However, he
might have been caught tampering with time & reality itself in this footage.

This is usually how he goes off-duty, though.
Can Hanes step up to the challenges ahead of him? Will he ever be able to be be even near as good as Sgt. Cross? Find out next, on America's Saddest Tales™, only on America's channel. (if we aren't sued first)i really did like your post though mcjob it's some good work
