dude, spoilers. seriously.
a lot of people here haven't gotten that far.
Don't read it then
He obviously said he only has 7 missions left

"Don't read it then"

Really?

Do you think everyone here has the power to detect a spoiler before they read a post?

I sure as hell don't have an alarm in my brain that says "SPOILER ALERT!"

gta v (for me) in a nutshell:
1. get cool car
2. customize with every upgrade
3. car gets flipped over
4. quit for like 10 minutes, repeat step 1-4
:)
i love the customizing feature, especially respraying.

pretty easy for me

i beat the game so there's no harm but I can clearly detect in the first few words that he is going to talk about missions. So don't look at them lmfao.

I only have 7 missions left to do :(
That should be enough to deter you from continuing to read.
Having 7 missions left means that he is near the end of the story

telling someone you have 7 missions left doesn't hint a spoiler.

reading isn't like watching tv where you can just cut it off

Just finished the one
The first part may not be enough, but the above should be

How can you not stop reading something?

uhhhhh
what

I'm not trying to be mean or anything but really, if you speak and read English and are able to pass school with a D or above, it should be second nature to begin reading:

I only have 7 missions left to do :(
Just finished the one where the FIB, Government and Meriweather are attacking you all at the same time. Kinda odd how Trevor came and helped after trying to kill Michael while they were digging up Brad from the grave.

see this and realize in your head "okay, he's going to describe it and if I don't want to learn about this mission he just finished, I will stop"

also, the fact that you are even in a GTA thread and are complaining you see spoilers is pretty stupid to begin with. We don't have spoiler tags like some forums where you can click a drop down button to see the expanded text. Do you also go on /r/grandtheftautov and complain when you see spoilers?

there are at least 6 words in a persons peripheral vision, which is why we can read faster than we can talk.

This means you pick up multiple words in a sentence.

How about not post spoilers in the first place

Thats like walking past a steaming pile of stuff on accident and complaining about it while you tell me "Wow you shouldn't of smelt it in the first place"

I shouldn't have to tell people not to post spoilers

let me be clear, I beat the game a while ago, I don't care that I saw it, but I'm worried about other people that come across the post. sure, "Just finished the one where" could mean a spoiler's ahead, but it could also be interpreted as something that happened earlier in the game. it'd be way better just to put that kind of stuff in color=transparent so that that stuff doesn't happen.

thankyou

Sure it could have been better, but there was absolutely nothing wrong with it.
