It'd be real loving neato if the money was a bit better balanced since I lose as much money for dying as I do for completing a mission.

...which, as a note, is really loving hard to avoid since people are insistent on turning freemode into a deathmatch. Which, overall, isn't a bad thing, but Jesus loving Christ the medical bills.


Also, I seem to be able to prevent that character deletion thing by starting in Story and going to "Choose Character" to start up Online. I'm still avoiding playing during really busy hours of the day because ugh the lag gets horrendous.

Is it just me or is money the stupidest thing ever

I just bought a garage and all, spent $30,000 and I had $5000 left over. I do a deathmatch, spend $500 on ammo and light armor, and end up coming in third place on my team of 6. Apparently when I get out, I earned like $1200 but only have $2500 in the bank (2k death penalty?). We won and I come out with losing $1300 for winning the match.

You have to come in first place every match and grind like 20 in a row if you ever want to make money. Not to mention all people do on freemode is kill you for no reason so the medical bills really add up.

I find myself grinding missions and then joining back into a private freemode session everytime.

i don't get it, some of you guys get on Online and my GTA V just now updtaed but i'm still getting a "Failed to host session"
