Switching to a nicer car increases the chances of finding a better car, when I was looking around in a minicooper all that there was were minicoopers and sedans, although I didn't switch, eventually I came across a decent car. Took me a good 2 or 3 minutes though(that's before actually SEEING another type of car, not the one I got, it was like 3 minutes after that when I found a good enough car to make my personal car).

yes, it automatically sells the other one and gives you a discount based on the price of the old apartment.
