some guy apparentally found a way to get the day one patch
he is playing rockstar's warehouse version
its pc
and its real.
he's showed system specs and graphics settings you can tell because the aiming is not wonky like a controller

I'm assuming it's because GTA V either has really bad compression or because out of all games it has the most diverse environments and way more content.
