PSA: it is only 100 something GB space requirement if you pre-downloaded or whatever.

It needs a place to dump the whole stuff and then put that into order.

... well, it WAS working. until i bugged out a lobby for a shooting range that i couldn't quit out of, and now my game won't get past the notification about the spinning loading and saving icons. i left it there for like ten minutes, still nothing. it also keeps disabling and reenabling my headset, which is annoying.

you know, in the opening sequence with michael on the beach, i saw a car do a backflip in the cinematic. i thought it was funny, not foreshadowing that this game is bugged to hell and back.

oh well.

I ran GTA5 on PC with no problems minus the disappearing map, but that stopped immediately after I finished Franklin and Lamar. ME and a few buddies even played GTA Online and played a few missions and even a heist.

you're getting the disappearing map too? i think it has something to do with the processor. that's the only thing of mine that doesn't quite reach the recommended specifications... i'm currently running on an AMD A8-6600K. absolutely hate the fact that i have an AMD processor and Nvidia gpu, but whatever.

i know what my next computer purchase is gonna be - a new motherboard and a new processor. stuck on this lame-ass MSI A78M-E35 mobo... not much room for improvement here

from what i've seen, it's the cities that cause the ground to disappear. i'm just assuming here, but i think that the game's being forced to load so many things that the processor can't keep up. that's the only thing i can really think of, since I run the game at 60 FPS, so i really doubt it's my graphics card

Transferred my online character and immediately unlocked a forget ton of achievements since 2013 when I started playing this game.  On my current hardware with an R9 270x and a OC'd 6350, I get a solid 60 fps at high settings with 16x AA but no MXAA cause the 270x isn't quite that powerful.  Below are just some random steam screenshots I snapped while playing with my friend who as well transferred his online character.

Everyone in my steam library are enjoying their GTA V and I'm sitting here like a poorcigarette browsing the forums. I've never begged for a game before but like, if someone buys it for me I'll pay you back via paypal when I get some moola.

My computer can't really run it too well, but I've managed to get it running pretty decently by using the lowest graphical options on DX10. :]

Played it real well. The game cries whenever I try to increase the graphics because I don't have enough memory on the card apparently, but otherwise the game looks fine and runs fine.
I played a bit of campaign then went over to Online. I was actually able to make a good looking character this time. :D! Played some Deathmatch and I did better than I do on consoles because firstperson + pc.
