You're probably right about aliens. It's just that we're at a tech point where we can't really have human space colonies on other planets yet and most of Earth is claimed; aliens are a cheap workaround for that. Anyhow, as an alternative, I'm going to erase Klevinstein, Mishy..., and Ragin unless activity for those nations increases. The other nations around here are otherwise at least passively present, barring maybe Slevokxia.
Project S has completed designs for a mech suit comparable to Conservatia's. Gotta keep up with the times, you know?
Relay satellites between Earth and Mars are completed and in their proper orbits. Backups, extras, safteys, &c. are kept in a vault on the moon for safekeeping/future use. Construction of the TPSP Mars Base is fully complete, and all goes well on Mars. The TPSP begins devoting resources to more cost effective means of getting stuff into orbit, namely through research into a space elevator type thing, rockets with improved efficiency, and powerful railguns that would fire a capsule far into the atmosphere where it could engage its own thrusters; at the moment none of these plans are at any noteworthy stage.
