"I watch My Little Pony."
"I don't."
"You should check it out."
"Nah, I really don't want to."
"No, check it out! It's cool!"
"No, I really don't want to, sorry."
"Aw come on man go watch it."
"No."
"WATCH IT NOW"
"NO I DON'T WANT TO"
"DON'T YELL AT ME YOU HAVE TO LEARN TO ACCEPT DIFFRENCES"
Now see, this has happened to me too many times.
And I love it when bronies are like "oh those are the bad bronies.."
Found out one of my coworkers was a brony. (I work at a Summer Camp/School rest of year) He came up to me one day and straight away was asking if I watch the show. I said no, said I saw an episode to see how it was, and that it wasn't my cup of tea (Was trying to be polite)
He got pissed. He started telling me I wasn't comfortable in my loveuality to watch it. I said no and asked why he watched it. He said that the animation is beyond compare, it has great humour targeted more towards his demographic than what the stereotype is. He's 18 - 19, balding, out of shape, and tries talking to kids about the show. He works primarily with 3rd Grade.
I found out he tries talking to kids about it, because I've actually had kids come up to me and asking what was up with him, and why he was so weird. I asked what they meant, and the kids kept saying how he talks about ponies all the time.
I think the best part about it was that he told me he was one of the "Good bronies" then later said that after work he was having a get together with a lot of guys to all watch it and eat popcorn.
OTHER INTERACTIONS:
I had a brony tell me 2 years ago that he no longer needs anti depressants because Rainbow Dash gives him hope in the world, and because of Rainbow Dash's go-to attitude, he feels like there's hope.
