exactly. and most of them have moved anyways. so good for them for improving their lives the proper way.if the city cant make it, its easier to let it die then to waste even more of the money this country dosnt have.we bailed out the auto industry just to have this happen anyways. detroit owes me before i will be happy throwing yet MORE money at it.
Detroit owes you? lol, a few dollars a month that maybe goes to Detroit isn't going to kill you.
It's not the federal government's responsibility, and if it is, it's nowhere near priority. If any government besides the government of Detroit should be involved, it's the county and/or state.
The county state and city are doing jack stuff about it. They spent $25 million they don't have on a transit system nobody wants.
classic come back from someone who obviously dosnt pay taxes. its attitude like that that we have so many entitlement programs putting us in the red to begin with. bailouts never work, and come back to make us pay 3 times over.its not about the amount of money. its that its all being wasted.
Why are you worried about detroit so much?
I mean, who gives a forget about education in Detroit? Or public transport? Or hospitals? The people of Detroit have enough money to pay for that!
they should have enough money to pay for that. you know... like how every other city does it.if they cant afford it, then they cant be a city. welcome to the real world. there isnt magic money from the federal government to pay for everything lol. never was, never will be.
They're bankrupt and in the hole, $20 billion in debt. They don't have money to pay for stuff. Thats why the government needs to help ITS OWN loving PEOPLE and stop getting involved in wars that dont loving affect us.
What are you expecting them to do?
New York's mayor did that. Not the feds
