I also love it how every feminist on tumblr likes to quote every word CK Louis says, disregarding the fact that, you know, he's a forgetin' comedian?
there are plenty of comedians that can be comedic while still delivering a potent, valid message. George Carlin's a good example.

Most damsel in distress games feature a princess or some form of female royalty.

...Which are supposed to be weak.

And its not like you can do much from inside a cage.

Damsel in Distress games are just an extension of "Princess locked in a tower" Fairy Tales

i mean nintendo can't have a story where peach is up in a cage and takes a stuff on bowser blinding him and then burning himself in his own lava

I see where she's coming from, but despite saying she's not, she still takes it out of context.

Royalty is not strong in alot of games (if they were we wouldn't need heroes). Suppose the king got kidnapped, and you have to save him. It's perfectly reasonable because he's a king, he's made to govern.

The same applies to princesses (who are much more valuable than a king).

that guy has a fedora
watch the video, I don't think it's what you think it is.

not trying to prove her point, but theres a reason behind this re-used "trope"

oh boy, blockland and femi- actually, gender or just plain females for that matter do not go well.

i hate saving anyone of any gender. i want more fps games where i am just selfish and in it for the material reward lol.
screw the chance of hooking up with the girl or saving friends. i want treasures and i dont want to be encouraged to use violence for the better good like all games sell us on. i wanna be indifferent to innocent characters who are being victimized. why do i have to pick sides anyway, that is what the weak female role was created for.
