played the demo a couple years ago, it was fun but not exactly the way i like it

i never made an entire island-size city out of any level, i'd never go past building my own city past the starting area unless i was really wasting time making like a massive army.

After you finish the campaign mission and the gold scroll appears to move on you can build the stuff out of an island. And you don't need an army at that point.

I especially enjoy sectioning off a group of people to create a royal bloodline of sorts, because if you hit S you can see everyone's name and age.

Really the entire game is an ant farm.
