Author Topic: Stupid rules your school has, enforced or not  (Read 8787 times)

My school has many rules. of which, very few are actually enforced. nobody's supposed to be allowed to have non-uniform clothing, jackets, or hats. cell phones must remain in locker at all times. no speaking korean. no taking out electronics during class.

>each day Im in a classroom with like 12 kids in black hoodies with iphones out watching youtube and speaking korean in study hall.

>I get in trouble for having a hat

the dumbest rule my school has hmmm.
i really don't know.

People get detention for trying to break up a fight, while people in a fight don't. (personal experience right here)

in my school you cant wear a hat
in my school you cant wear jeggings
in my school you cant say "handicap"
I've already graduated, but my high school had a rule that if someone started physically hurting you, you couldn't fight back. Anyone who fought back got in the same trouble as the person who attacked them :/
this too
you have to have your ID out at all times

but forget the police everyone does it anyway, and gets pissed when the old fat math teacher tells them to take the hat off

pretty much you can't wear hats, and that is all the stupid rules my school has.
speaking of which last year I got a class called journalism, where basically every day I grabbed lunch from the period that isnt my lunch time, sat down in journalism, wrote a paragraph about something that happened and then i would just chill and watch youtube. you could basically do anything in that class, and there was only about 12 people in it and most of them were seniors. i hope i get a class like that this year but i really doubt it.

I don't know yet because it hasn't started. But the past one everybody was afraid to do something wrong because there were surveillance cameras in every room and hallway (except bathroom.)

Honestly, I got in a fight (Other person started it) and I defended myself, but I got suspended for 3 days.

no hugging
no flips or wallspins in the hallway

the only ones that seem to bother me, although PE teachers don't care about the flips n crap

No hats
No armpits in sight
That's about it.

no hugging
this
also no public shows of affection because the administrators gets jealous

No hugging :( I like hugging.
No electronics (Except for music players if the teacher permits). Not even during lunch.

No Electronics

This is dumb because everyone uses electronics in class. Even the teachers.
