Author Topic: Higher Brickcount  (Read 3904 times)

Ever since the new update everyone has been building lot's more, so with no terrain- we have to build it! Sylvanor and I'm sure many other people have had some issues regarding brickcount. 256k may sound like a lot, but when it comes to terrain and expansion in big builds it just doesn't cut it.

So this is a cry out to the Badspot, can we please have a raised brickcount to 500k~ in order to improve our builds? It would really be grand to see things like Seattle and other grand builds grow larger and keep people eager to build.

Let's try and keep this at the top and get as much support as possible guys!



I don't really build that much but it'd be nice to see some projects, which are limited by the current brickount, finished

Also improve performance of games with large brick counts, I know there are people whose computers still can't handle more than 40k bricks so if we could maybe boost those too.

Badspot do brick update, max brick count increase + more effecient bricks in terms of rendering. Good stuff.

Yeah, I agree. I have used up 43K bricks just building terrain (albeit I've never actually hit the limit). It would really be useful for huge builds.

peformance boost on large amounts of bricks is key too, i want other people to see the stuff i build and not be horribly affected or laggy

256 is a pretty normal number.

it'd be nice if we could get enough optimization to have this possible.

IIRC the reason the brickcount is 256k is that the engine cant render more than that amount
