I like how its modular so you can replace both the ceiling and floor without adjusting the framework.

Hey Blocklanders,

I'm currently in PA with family for Thanksgiving.
I just wanted to detail that I may not be able to work on CityMod for about a week.  I'll see how things play out, but I probably won't the get time to be able to work on it.

Progress, from my part of development, will resume on the 3rd of December. (I have no idea what Brian is working on at the moment..)
When I get back i'll finish up some big updates that we have in store for CityMod :)

Logging in for this but ...

Message me about details to how you want the layout done and whatnot. Also I need some sort of assurance this going to be finished before I start.

Siba's bricks look pretty dope.

Incase anyone thought I was kidding:

I'm not.

i love you Brian never remove that ever

Update
the gameConnection::ismonday(gameConnection client[, int range]) has been updated to use Blockland's default brown.

it doesn't check over a range of colors considered brown?

it does
it's just the range starts at blockland's default brown.

Why the hell are the prefab constructions only 16x16?
You can't build much on 16x16, do 32x32 like every other cityrpg.

I'm confused.

Are you talking about my bricks?

I'm confused.

Are you talking about my bricks?

No, hes talking about Demian's bricks. Of course he's talking about yours.

disclaimer: your bricks are the best ever please dont sue me kthxbai

Vaux I sent you a PM about an actual build for the city and while I'll wait for your response to that, I do have a suggestion
If you can manage a server capable of a somewhat healthy brickcount, you could have functional light fixtures and traffic lights. Now, basic knowledge says running a red light is bad, so maybe that could be implemented? Pre-made bricks that, if driven through while a light brick is red, the driver is given some form of ticket. Possibly speed limits?

Speaking in terms of the build I have, traffic lights can be overly complicated, without VCE it takes a lot of relays and 6 named bricks, but with VCE you can make specialized relays to remove the named brick requirements. I can see some cases where models could replace the brick-made street lights, but I'm not 100% sure how that would function. I'll leave it up to the message I sent you in terms of the build, but I thought this would be the best place for my suggestion.
Edit:
It's been pointed out that if 3+ people OR a cop sees a crime commited, the person is wanted. What if it's not seen, but extremely obvious? Festival in the middle of town, 12 people in a big dance area, suddenly car bomb, but nobody saw who blew up the car. Would that kind of attack not get a stronger police presence aka SWAT teams and FBI? Mass killings usually get really high priority.

Also, life in prison? Maybe a possibility for the extreme crimes aka mega kill sprees, which means you either rot in jail forever OR you reset?
