Jefailley is the best character.

That's a weird way of spelling Baz.

Oh sweet! I've had my eye on this game for a while!

so everyone who hates this game types a single sentence and everyone who loves it types paragraphs

i might buy it if it goes on sale and i have money somehow

looks like it was made on mugen but only decided to program one move

If you don't like fighting games, you won't like this game. Despite the general idea being simplification of fighting games, it's actually made even more complicated because of how you have to carefully manipulate a total of three or four actions strategically.

This actually looks pretty entertaining. At the least it's a good time waster for richarding around, and it's a very interesting concept, doing the opposite of Mortal Kombat. Instead of throwing you into an arena with a MASS of combos that take practice and skill, you run in, and are extremely limited in what you can actually do, increasing the intensity of every fight no matter what. It takes very little skill to actually become a formidable fighter.

talk about people who don't know the inside jokes of fighting games! plebians!

is this game a joke

This is indeed the truth. You don't have to know the inside jokes of fighting games to enjoy this game. The depth here is something amazing, and althought it has this whole "fighting game parody" thing going on, while including tons of fighting game in jokes, It is not a joke game. You're not paying $10 for a joke game. You're paying $10 for a fully fledged fighting game, which (personally) I believe is up there with the likes of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat.

Just because it's different to those games doesn't mean it's any less of a game. This game does take itself seriously, dispite having many inside jokes and little references to those who play fighting games.

If you don't like fighting games, don't bother picking this game up. If you don't understand the whole concept of the game, don't post negative, snarky comments in the thread for it. It's very very simple, you guys.

Man, if Divekick isn't at EVO next year I'll be so peeved. I might even have to say I'd be salty.

Wasn't there this one group of people wanting that MLP fighting game to be added to the tourney?

Probably? I wouldn't doubt it.

i still dont get it lol. i mean sure maybe its fun but honestly this could be made as like any other flash game and be played for free. i wouldnt be surprised if there was already a game exactly like it honestly. it doesnt really seem "more advanced" because they took away every feature besides like two attacks. thats like making a new CoD game but only having one sniper rifle, bumping up the price and saying it requires more skill and is more advanced then all the others.

seems like a whole bunch of hardcore gaming nerds making a big deal over nothing imo
