I don't get Democrats or Republicans. It's like a two headed snake, one head tells you something, they other says something completely different from what the other says. Also they both try to try to bite each other, but their own venom would kill them in the process.

The Middle East must be the new Balkans or something. 1914 was the year World War 1 started and was the result of Austria-Hungary trying to intervene in the affairs of one nation and Russia said no, but they did anyway. Then boom, domino effect and all the alliances got together and started fighting. The year is 2013 so it makes you wonder if history will repeat itself or not.
harm why do you have to be so damn agreeable
and moonstar do you think bush tax cuts and two wars have nothing to do with the deficit that is shrinking?

deficit that is shrinking?

lol.
someone has little knowledge about our deficit.

HERP

Funny you cited an article that proves you wrong.
"Granted, this trend won’t last: “The White House projected the deficit to bottom out at $496 billion in 2018, then start ticking back up to $593 billion in 2022.”"

Um yeah but that's not the point? If it's shrinking just a little bit it's obvious that we're on the right track.

But if it starts growing again later just as much, what did it solve if it shrunk just a little?

please tell me you are kidding?

Let's break this down okay,

Granted, this trend won’t last: “The White House projected the deficit to bottom out at $496 billion in 2018, then start ticking back up to $593 billion in 2022.”

This means that the white house itself (liberally run atm), states that the deficit shrinkage is only temporary, and will climb back up beginning 9 years from now.

That's literally the opposite of the right track.

-snip-
The thing about those predictions is that it takes a snapshot of where we're at right now, then projects it for the next ten years at the exact same pace. Maybe if Republitards start allowing the president to do his job it would shrink even more?

Uh no.

They take into account what is causing the deficit to be shrinking, and its long term effects.  In this case, its long term affects are null, once it is over, the deficit will continue on the same path, unfortunately we cannot predict future bills that haven't been thought of yet, sorry.

And really?  You'd rather have one party be able to freely pass bills and ratify anything they choose without having an opposing side?

I have to say, if that's what you want, you'd be best off moving to either China or Cuba, you'll definitely love the governments there

The government needs to reduce their spending and take steps to reduce lost tax income.

Two headed snake.

Two headed snake.

I agree with you, and our system is not at all favorable, but it's a lot better than a direct system of power

Seriously?
You Republitards pay too much attention to what you disagree with. He has tons of good for America, and I mean it. He stopped/is stopping two endless wars that had a HUGE impact on the deficit you guys complain about so much, Obamacare is actually good because not only does it benefit so many people with such little cost per person but it actually saves lives; 40,000 people died from poor to no avaliable healthcare. Obamacare gives a hand to the poor communities that are paying attention to not starving, and not healthcare.

Sadly, you people complained about Obama's plan for tax reform that he conformed to your whining and extended Bush tax cuts, which you think had NO IMPACT on the deficit (again, which you complain about so much.) Maybe if Republicans listened to Obama we would be in a better place.

Yet you whine about a conflict in Syria that has a limit to 90 days and no boots on the ground? How about the two ten year wars that were endless. Not only that but the governments in Iraq and Afghanistan are now severely unstable and abusive.

I really do not get you Republicans. Just keep living in your fantasy land.
