The problem with subscription-based MMO's is that if you run out of your precious money and can't pay for the next month of the game, you simply stop playing.
You are basically paying 180 bucks or so for a year of playing this game, even though there's tons of games which you pay from 10 to 60 bucks and it's yours forever, and some of those games can be played for more than a year (Blockland for example).
But when you add a microtransaction store to the subscription-based model, it's an obvious sign of massive cashgrab. Dunno if that microtransaction store is confirmed tho.
