Author Topic: teacher puts dog collar on students after watching up  (Read 3100 times)

The teacher and who ever is backing her up are idiots. You can't do that to students, and even calling it a joke? That's not professional, it's abusive and I hope she gets fired.

As abusive as it is, it still gave me a chuckle.

She definitely needs to get fired, though.

I don't know why I didn't expect this.
...Should've expected that too.

dough, a teacher is supposed to take his/her job seriously. They can have fun with their students, but this was more than a tad bit overboard.

putting a dog collar on some students as a joke one time doesnt mean that the teacher never took his job seriously.
if the students were ok and happy with it, what is the problem?

It's pretty abusive. You are putting a cone around someone's head. That can be dangerous if it's too tight or something, and it's just morally wrong for humans. I mean come on, it's what you put on dogs to keep them from touching their head.

Personally I think this sounds hilarious. People who don't like it have no sense of humor. If I was misbehaving in class and had a cone put on me, I'd laugh my ass off.

Edit: I had a science teacher who chased a misbehaving student around the class with a pool noodle. Funniest. stuff. Ever.

if the students are okay with it, it shouldn't be a problem

it's not really abusive at all. it's like saying you shouldn't pour gatorade over a coach after winning the superbowl because it could drown the coach.

and its not like the teacher was forcing them down and shoving the cone on, she was just using it as a joke prop to make a punishment less "mean"

I don't see a problem with it.
