It's p good. Tough, but you get through it. Senior year is a breeze so far.

In Senior you're mostly going over stuff and schools try to make it enjoyable.

my toyota just turned legal last year
Pour beer into the gas cap.

Depends on what happens, what school, etc.

For me? loving living hell.

the problem i have with you calling it the grown up guide is that you're not a grown up. plus, you're still in school - what are you basing "it gets you far" on?

it's the same problem i had with you comparing our relationships. you're not in an adult/ intimate relationship, and yet you feel it appropriate to compare them like they're the same thing

I honestly don't see much of a difference other than that one has more freedom than the other. Being grown up doesn't really have to do with your age more than how fast you mature. However, I have tried to beak those restrictions of freedom by working on my license and getting a job to save up for a car. I don't really think I would classify myself or my relationship as childish.

But really, I'd like you to point out the differences between the two so that I can argue directly towards them, please.

You're still in school and don't work full time (full time work is nothing like school so dont even try comparing them). You don't have the independence to go anywhere you want at any time. You don't have the pressures of living by yourself and paying your own bills. You don't have the same expectations placed on you that an adult does.

It's very easy for you to claim all this stuff because you have no idea what the other side is like lol. i'm not saying you or your relationships are childish. I'm saying they're not the same as they will be when you're an adult.

Those are understandable points, thanks for clearing that up. However, I wasn't really comparing school with work. I know that work is a hell of a lot worse because I had dealt with some of the stufftiest, most irresponsible managers back at my old job and had to force myself to ignore them for the sake of the money. I have been trying to claim that independence for a while now, though.

I pay for most of my things nowadays with the money I earn other than the basic necessities that my parents provide. I look forward to moving in with a friend (who is an ex member of this community) once I turn 18 and finish high school so that we could get an advantage in life for a bit until we're ready to go completely solo.

Soon I'll be paying for car insurance so I'll have to look for a better job that pays better. So lately, I've been trying to focus on moving into adult-hood, basically summed up. So I understand some of what you're saying by experience.

However, I wasn't really comparing school with work.
I just put that in there because you seem to have a habit of comparing two completely different things (e.g. my relationship & yours)

moonstar everything you have posted in this thread makes me cringe unbelievably hard

Fair enough. I believe we're not really getting anywhere because our views are so different though.

Thanks buddy :)

just going back to what you said, having more then one girlfriend doesnt make you a tool lol. thinking you are too good for more then one girl is being a tool. have as many relationships as you want, how you act in those relationships is what really matters. its highschool, an extremely small amount of people get married/have very long term relationships (and have a LASTING marriage) to their highschool gf/bf.

being held down ALL HIGHSCHOOL by one girl who you will break up with in a few months is total bullstuff. highschool is the best time for experiences of all sorts. i would die if i just dated one girl for four years holy stuff lol

i love high school tbh i might almost miss it if it weren't for the mass of handicaps in my school

So far high school has been awesome for me. Great people at my school. I cant believe Im already a Junior. :(

Whatever you think it is, it's not as great as college.
