Even in an argument about letting the past go you bring up the past that has nothing to do with it to question the validity of an argument.

People do have the capacity to learn from their mistakes, it's not an impossibility. Why is forgiving people and giving them a chance to change so difficult for everyone?

I mean, it seems like every other drama topic goes like this:
One guy has an issue with someone else
guy2 responds stating his case
guy3 brings up guy1 or guy 2's past to say that they are unreliable
guy4 brings up guy3's past to say he's being hypocritical
guy2 responds saying he realized what he did wrong in the past but nobody cares because "people don't change"
