Why should I use iTunes?

it's terribly bloated and all the stuff that comes with it really slows down "wake up" time when starting up a windows based computer

Yeah, slows it so much that all of the apple stuff on my PC at the moment is taking about 57 mb ram and 0% cpu.  And it's so bloated!  Look at this!

So much bloat!  Look at all of those useless options! It's taking a whole 162 mb of my disk space up too!

I only use iTunes to Sync my iPod. I always use foobar to listen to music on my computer though.

Winamp for me is at 47,000 K, 0% CPU, 66MB.

i actually sue it as a music player, besides syncing music onto my iPod.

Yeah, that program that has nothing to do with iTunes and isn't installed with it anymore is the worst part of iTunes.

the windows 8 copy of itunes doesn't need quicktime but apparently the windows 7 one does.
