How do I know a person who says they have a richard and is a woman is wrong?
Because women do not have snakees.
I don't have to be a transgender to understand this simple concept.

What is the minority? The specific example? The example is just that: an example. There's tons of other causes.
But I'm assuming you mean people who have some sort of (for lack of a better word) disorder.
Do you have anything to back this claim up?
As far as I can find through a google search, the causes of transgender identity are unknown. I can find a lot of theories though, and all of them point to things beyond the individuals choice.

I suppose I could find something, I'm not quite sure what keywords to search for, however.
Personally I doubt that serious problems, which start in the embryo and which give someone who's genitcally one gender the genitalia of the other, are too common.

Many people since the time they are born and are developing as toddlers don't feel right being the gender they were born as. It's a psychological feeling, and you know what it's understandable. All of us were built differently, and we all have preferences, and needs. It is a simple concept, but for some it's hard to understand. I used to be confused on the subject too until my dad started being nice to me about it to my brother and I and how it was ok and how we're all different, etc. I am just trying to say that it isn't a choice to be gay, straight, transgender, or bi, or whatever. loveuality's are default traits which all humans are born with (even animals too).

Interlove happens. Sometimes you get something other than XX or XY. Sometimes your testicles don't produce enough hormones and you get the ability to grow breasts. Maybe your ovaries are actually testicles and you can choose whether you are male are female. Maybe you have ovaries, testicles, and a snake?

So what? stuff happens. stuff in genetics happen. Down syndrome, for example, is a genetic slip up.

If your body just made you have a mind of a girl, and a body of a boy, you are transgender. It's not normal, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

"Lying" as in: If your partner doesn't want a richard, he shouldn't have to have one, and if he dumps you for not telling him you have the richard, then that's completely your fault for not being honest. That's not being "intolerant", that's having a loveual preference.

You're still stuck on the one example I listed when their are other causes.
Even experts in the field don't fully understand the cause, and I can't pretend to know anywhere near as much as they do, and neither can you.
All I can say is the theories these experts have came up with all point to causes that the individual can't control, and I personally can't justify any sort of negative opinion of someone based on something they can't control

I don't understand what you're saying. Are you saying that transgender people never lie or pretend? Or that if an XY who desires to be female says to someone "I am a female" that they are in fact telling the truth? Or are you saying that acting as something you're not isn't the definition of pretending? Because those words are used entirely correctly, and you're the one that's looking ignorant here.

Gender roles are socially constructed, but gender identity isn't.
It seems a lot of people think transgender is like some dude just thought to himself one day "I like boobs I wish i had some so i play with them all the time lol"
But often times something went wrong as a embryo/fetus/infant/whenever and there was an actual issue with development; say the child has XY chromosomes, they are genetically male, yet for some reason they grew a vagina instead.
This does happen, and I don't see how you can tell this child what they are
