Doubtful
They're dumping a ton of money into Club Penguin, and they shut down the other MMOs to quote "focus on mobile games" unquote

yeah but 3 new mmos are supposed to come out. one we know is the star wars mmo.

I'm glad Disney shut down ToonTown and someone revived it. Disney was making nothing interesting to keep old users interested.

I give up. This is unplayable.

For the first ten minutes of my time, I was in an endless cycle of "launcher updates". So I click it, and it tells me I need to be logged in. So I log in. Then I go back to the launcher update. It tells me I need to be logged in. So I log in. Then I go back to the launcher update. It tells me I need to be logged in. Repeat for 10 minutes.

Once I FINALLY get the game started, I crash before I can even select my toon.
2nd try. I was able to select my toon. I crash while loading TTC.
3rd try. Crash before being able to select toon.
4th try. I get into the game. Unbearable lag. Managed to walk for about 8 seconds before it became so laggy I had to restart.
5th try. I manage to get a little further this time, only to freeze when I touch a cog.
6th try. Game crashes when I try to get on the trolley.
7th try. Game freezes when I select my toon.
8th try. Launcher doesn't even send me into the game.
9th try. Same as above.
10th try. Extreme lag when entering Gag Shop.
11th try. Extreme lag when trying to fish.
12th try. Launcher stops working before I can even enter my password.

This all happened over the course of 15 minutes.

If any of you want to send this to TTR's support, go right ahead. I bet they'll give you the same I-don't-care bot response they gave me.

the only issues i've run into are lag

it generally lags when loading new areas, and sometimes goes nonresponsive for a few seconds (especially with TTC), but if you just give it time, it loads.

i've been running as admin, but i'm not sure if that would be such a magical fix. i was having a good bit of trouble getting into the game last time, though.

The only glitch I encountered was where I would crash when I enter a building, or the game would not allow me to continue/lock up when I was talking to a NPC. And unresponsiveness.
Lag hasn't been an issue, the district with Paintbrush in the name has low lag.

I decided to get into PlayLine, and by the end of the day, I should be able to get on. 49 hours and 41 minutes. An "hour" is like, 5 to 15 minutes.

Well, not a lot of people are lucky. You have scratched the surface of what some people went through. I used 30 minutes of my time trying to get past flippy and text bubble lock-ups.

Everyone who said that waiting in the playline or scheduling a playtime wasn't worth it, you're 100% correct. They claim they've fixed server issues, but it appears it has only gotten worse.

Playline is sort of is worth it if you're patient. Just wake up in the morning, enter the line, and check back about every 30 mins to 2 hours to see progression, you'll be able to get in at the end of the day.
Playtime isn't worth it. It's lucky that you'll get a schedule that will fit into your day, and let alone, take longer to get in. I scheduled my first time because I thought the Playline had "accurate timing".

48 hours to go, it'll pass by fast. Trust me.

That's not the point. It is the unbearable lag-and-crash every 5 minutes. I still have 2 hours left in my Playtime right now.

Try to go into that Paintbrush district I was talking about.

The game won't even let me switch districts without freezing.

Alright, I'm done. Unless my friend manages to scrounge up a beta key task for me, I'm waiting for full release.

Hey, that's chill.

On the other hand, 47 hours to go.

yeah the game seemed to be a bit more temperamental my last session as well honestly

i guess i'll just hope it's better when i get my next session

I don't know how Bomb Kirby's play sessions are that unplayable, but it might have been that during the time he was playing, there were lots of toons, or that his computer has problems with the game.
My brother just played yesterday, and he had no issues with crashing, only 2 game-freezes that went away after a few minutes.

To be honest, I think the line is crap, it's not worth waiting 90+ hours to play a three hour game were the servers will most likely crash while you're playing.
