just got an offer on my current car

offer:
Mazda RX-7 near stock but; black paint, alloy rims, 70,000 miles
$2,200 cash

i really want to take this but that rotary engine is getting close to its lifetime at that mileage, and i dont want to throw more cash at a car

2009

then don't you mean RX-8?

I don't think RX-7s were around that long.

i did indeed mean rx-8, my bad

Ah ok.  That's still cool though.  There's someone at school with a red RX-8 with aftermarket parts on it and it's really low to the ground.

it's a kickass car, the horsepower is obviously stuff, but the gas mileage and the feel of the car are absolutely loving lovey

i've been debating dropping a nicer rotary in it and sinking some good money into it and keeping it for a while, but rotary engines have a tendency to be VERY loving picky about what they'll sit in

I've always thought that the RX-8 looked gross.

i knew most of this, the car isn't built to last by any means and it's a high upkeep car

i think ill call the guy up and go ahead and pass

I'm staying away from rotary engines just because they're so hard to fix.  Not many cars use them either, so parts can be an issue.

I like the RX8s but yeah I've heard nothing good about those engines.

Also new GTR Boxsters and Caymens, says Porsche. Shall be lovey.

Also as much as I despise Escapes, I really like yours, Destroyer. Did you just plastidip your rims?

Destroyer's rims look plastidipped to me.

I need some opinion help from you guys. I've got a little over a thousand dollars laying around asking to be spent on my car, and I need help deciding what to buy. These are my options:

- Brand new Fast Intentions True Dual Exhaust ($1300) (+20 WHP)
- Brand new Fast Intentions Resonated Test Pipes ($400) (+7 WHP) (save the rest) (illegal, but oh well)
- Used Fast Intentions TDX + RTP (+27 WHP) (Probably around $1300, condition may be questionable)

- Quaife Helical Limited Slip Differential (+0 WHP, but considerably improves amount of power that can be put down) ($1100)

- Blue Vehicle Wrap (+100% prettier) ($1000)

Okay, so now for the benefits:
That exhaust is the best exhaust in existence for my car. It provides the biggest power gains and the best sound ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Y-cGfs5AGs ) of all the brands. It's the only one that actually increases the power my car puts down.

My car doesn't have an LSD. For those of you who may not know what a Limited Slip Differential is or does; in 90% of cars only one wheel actually receives power from the engine and an LSD allows the power to be sent to two wheels. The biggest thing this helps with is acceleration from 0, because 1 spinning wheel puts down nowhere near as much power as 2 wheels that aren't spinning. The second thing it helps with is initiating drifts, it makes it way easier to drift when you can lose traction on both rear wheels instead of just one. It also helps with regaining traction because there's twice as much powered area to grip.

The blue vehicle wrap (obviously) doesn't make my car any faster, but it sure as hell looks pretty. This isn't my car (obviously) but this is what the color would look like. There's nothing wrong with my existing paint, but it's got swirl marks from being washed and a few minor scratches from god knows what, it's a 5 year old car.

What's your guys opinion on the 2015 Mustang? I think it looks weird.http://www.ford.com/cars/mustang/2015/

I'd say go for the exhausts. You won't have to worry about the condition of them, you'd have an amazing sounding car, and a decent WHP boost.
