Thanks! I may end up doing another review in the future pointing out the flaws in my car, since this one was mostly just good points.

You make sure the valve is on the highest point possible. You remove the valve, put a funnel, fill the wheel with sand, put the valve back, and fill with air up to your desired pressure.
Ah, makes sense. Now how does one get the sand out? Just remove the rubber from the rim?

What's a reasonable price for a first car? I'm only 14 right now but my parents are both giving me ridiculously low price ranges for a first car at around $200-$1000.

yo wtf im already dishing out over a hundred per month for the bare minimum, this stupid increase apparently has the potential to tack another 40/month

forget people

this is why I park far away from other cars-- the extra 10 seconds added to the walk is worth the assurance. last year some ass had the nerve to slam his door up against my car while i was still sitting in it. almost gave the boy these hands

I'm more of a bottom these days myself
well it seems to add up perfectly then ;)))

ya know, because the passat is widely considered to be a girly car

the kbb value(selling to a private party) on my first car was between 900 and 1200. in such a low price range, you're basically guaranteed a piece of stuff, so imo just look for an old honda or toyota

My brother pays $92 monthly for insurance on his ranger

I hope one day I can acquire insurance like that

It's like $200 for liability for both of my cars
I would of gotten classic insurance for the alfa but I'm not old enough :(

So guys, about my car.

Murphy's Law happened, and to tl;dr, I may meet a guy who's selling a very nice '04 Crown Victoria on Sunday. Still arranging plans (and of course in a totally public place) but we'll see what happens.

I would totally drive a crown vic. that's like the only american car that I would like, aside from the sports cars

There is a student on my campus with a beautiful silver Crown Victoria. I think it's a very recent model since it's E85 compatible, but it always grabs my attention and I'm practically drooling over it. This one that I'm going to look at is $3500, 2 owner (first owner ran a car dealership in Georgia), has no rust at all, and the current owner claims the undercarriage is cleaner than the exterior of the car (which is not bad at all), and has 146000 miles. He also just put a new water pump on it.

I'd also be upgrading my 3.8L V6 in my Buick to the 4.6L V8 in the Crown Vic ;)

Actual craigslist image:

Kelley Blue Book values the car at $2,665 for excellent condition, so I'm probably going to make offers somewhere between there iff I think it's a good fit.

Hay guys, I just hit another truck in the mud at 40km and thr other guy was probably going at 70. The corner is pretty much wrecked. It's amazing how the bumper absorbed the impact and how the cabin was intact. I felt a slight bump. Nothing tough. It was a frontal hit, both vehicles frontal. My left side and his right side.

How can I remove the bumper that's preventing the wheel from rolling and moving to the sides? I used a shovel to lift it up but still scrapes when turning. The suspention was, surprisingly, intact as well.

I also now have a 3D lisence plate!

The bottom part was ripped out to allow the wheel to move.

There should be bolts holding the front end in place inside the wheel wells, probably under the front of the truck, and perhaps under the hood (that might just be the grille though). If you take off all the fasteners, it should come right off. You may have to take off some other stuff as well, such as the plastic panels in the wheel wells and the metal guard on the front of the truck.

Unrelated but my general manager just hit her seventh deer the other day with her Blazer. I think she said she has hit 3 with her Mustang, one with her Dodge truck (I've never seen that truck), 2 with her Blazer, and there was another one with a different car. She has a Cavalier that she's been driving but she hasn't had it long, so not sure if the seventh was with that car.

The hood doesn't pop. I'm going to try pulling the cable manually with some pliers and if that fails, cut the wells and the guards with metal cutters as soon as I get home. I need to take it to the capital to get it fixed by the insurance (got against total destruction, have yet to use it xP) but I need to get it route-worthy.

I pay $115 just for liability on my 2001 Mercury Sable with 0 tickets and 0 accidents at age 20 through Geico.

My good long time friend pays $60 on a 2001 V8 Cadillac DTS through USAA with several tickets and accidents at age 20. He's pretty lucky though getting grandfathered into a USAA account that he almost shouldn't be in. Pretty sure he can keep it his entire life which I'm jelly of.

Quick update on the crash, it is not route-worthy due to the right headlight being wrecked so we're calling in a flatbed to take it and the air filter was damaged or atleast we think that due to the "fix engine" light turning on while being stopped and a dust devil came by.
