the stick was dry as a bone, and being an automatic, it wouldn't shift into drive or reverse without about 10 tries

There's also definitely something wrong with my jaguar I noticed a scraping/grinding noise coming from the bottom of the car while braking/going up hills
that could also be the brake line that's just dangling below my car brushing the ground but i think not.

It also smoked like a bitch when I got on it this morning, but that could of just been oil

Well that definitely would have prevented my run-in last night. The cop said he'd been following me for like 7 miles but I never thought anything strange was going on until the final two. I just noticed a car getting closer and closer slowly but surely. I just kept slowing down more and more until i was almost 10 under the limit and when the car refused to go around me, my hopes began to sink.
